This section includes: (a) information about undergraduate requirements to join Psi Chi and (b) the application procedure you should follow to become a member. MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

All undergraduate applicants must meet these three requirements, in addition to their major/minor specific requirements found just below:

You are not eligible for membership until you reach the second term of Year 2. Transfer students are eligible as soon as they meet the course requirements for their proposed major or minor. You must have one of the following declared as your major or minor at the time you apply for membership:
- BA Major in Psychology or Honours in Psychology
- BSc Major in Behavioural Neuroscience or Honours in Behavioural
- BA Major in Cognitive Systems: Cognition and the Brain
- BA minor in Psychology
- BSc Arts minor in Psychology
- BSc Science Minor in Behavioural Neuroscience
You must meet the GPA minimum requirements. Cumulative *AND* all psychology course GPA must be in the top 35% of all UBC students. Typically, this translates to at least 80% for all students in 2nd-year studies and above.
Transfer students must meet GPA and course requirements, and must have also taken 12 credits of PSYC coursework at UBC. These 12 credits of PSYC may be used to meet course requirements.
